Fresh, Locally Grown Flowers

Right to Your Door

NEW FOR 2022!

Please note! We are changing some of our delivery options. Home deliveries will be made to all addresses in Orinda, Moraga, Lafayette, Berkeley, Oakland, Walnut Creek, and Concord. Individual drop off points can be made available for San Francisco and other cities further from the Lamorinda area. If you wish to be a drop off spot in San Francisco or other city for others to pick up their bouquets, please email me hlmarano at bushpoppyfarm.com. If we have at least three customers interested in your area we can establish a drop off spot. Drop off hosts can earn 15% off their bouquet subscriptions.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. So when you participate in a CSA, you are helping the farm and the farmers grow and succeed. You have a hand in their success. As a new farm, every dollar raised through our CSA subscriptions will go back into the farm to grow our offerings for next season, as well as to purchase much needed equipment and eventually, to expand to more land.

We offer three seasonal CSA subscriptions: Spring, Summer and Fall. You’ll receive a fresh, hand grown, hand picked bouquet each week during the subscription period (depending on your choice of weekly, bi-monthly terms). Please read our Terms of Service and FAQs below (scroll past the photos) to understand all the details. We offer delivery to your home on Tuesdays. Deliveries arrive between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. All bouquets are lush, hand tied bunches wrapped in stamped brown paper, perfect for your favorite vase or for gift giving.

As an additional bonus for our CSA members, you will enjoy 15% off all workshops during the season you are signed up as a member. If you purchase just one of our subscriptions, you are a member for the full season. Check out our workshop page for all the offerings you could take advantage of.

Subscription sign ups for 2022 will begin Monday, November 1, 2021. You may also purchase a gift certificate which the recipient can use for any products or services we offer.

Our Flower CSAs

Terms of Service and FAQ

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. When you participate in a CSA, you are helping the growers as well as yourself. Pricing is usually much better than stores and you directly help the grower with their farm. By purchasing one of our CSA subscriptions, you are getting a share of the flower crop for that season. We are raising money to purchase or rent more land so that we can expand our flower offerings to you. Your CSA Subscriptions are the backbone of that endeavor.

When will I receive my flowers?

We’ll deliver to your home (or the address you select) weekly on Tuesdays during the course of your subscription. Please be sure there is a covered, shady spot for us to leave your flowers if you will not be home. They will wilt in the sun. On your first delivery, I’ll drop off your bouquet in a black plastic florists bucket. This will be your bucket for the term of your membership. Just be sure to leave it on your front porch on delivery morning with a few inches of water inside. In order to keep your flowers fresh and long lasting, please be sure your bucket is very clean each week. Just a wash with soap and water will do. I’ll also provide you with floral food to keep your bouquets going strong.

What if I go on vacation?
If you have the weekly subscription and you are going on holiday, as many do, we ask that you arrange for someone else to receive your blooms while you're away. Perhaps a pet sitter or family friend would enjoy your bouquet that week. Give us a week’s notice that you'll be away, and give us an alternate address we can deliver to. If you'd rather donate your blooms, let us know and we'll make arrangements

If you have the bi-weekly or monthly subscription and you go away for one of your delivery weeks, you can either gift that week to someone, or you can just move that delivery to another week you normally wouldn’t be getting a bouquet. Be sure to email us well in advance to set up the change.

Can I specify which flowers I want in my weekly bouquets?

As we are a micro farm we have very specific flowers blooming each week. We cannot accommodate custom orders or requests at this time. Your bouquet will be filled with seasonal flowers so you get a taste of what is growing right now. In the future, as the farm grows in space, we can more easily manage custom orders. We’ll keep you posted!

Can I buy a CSA Membership for someone else as a gift?

Most definitely! It’s a wonderful gift! Please be sure they read and understand the Terms of Service and then register with their information, and let us know it's a gift in the registration form.

Can I cancel my CSA Membership and get a refund?

Our CSA Subscriptions are the life blood of our farm. We rely on this revenue to keep the farm running (deal with unpredictable weather, pests, etc.) and grow for the future. But we do understand that life happens. Refunds for the 2021 season are available up to one week after purchasing your CSA Subscription. We do ask that instead of cancelling, you consider gifting or selling your membership to a friend who would love getting fresh flowers weekly.

Finally, we are a business who believes in equality and diversity. If any CSA member's behavior towards our owner or staff is deemed abusive or inappropriate, their CSA Membership will be cancelled without refund.

Many thanks! We are excited to share our flowers with you!
