Sunflower Seedling Sale 2021
Sunflower Seedling Sale 2021 is here!
It’s time to spread some sunshine. Choose from five different varieties of branching sunflowers which you can grow either directly in your garden, or in a pot (at least 18” deep) on your patio or sunny porch. Keep in mind sunflowers need at least 6 hours of direct sun. The more you cut the blooms, the more the plants will produce. So read below about the different varieties and then head over to the Farm Shop to make your pre-order.
Order pick ups are Friday, May 21st through Sunday, May 23rd here at our home.
If you are a Spring CSA Member and wish to purchase sunflower seedlings, I can deliver to you on your bouquet delivery day, just let me know in the notes when you purchase.
Junior Sunflower
This is a miniature sunflower, perfect for containers or the front row of a sunny border. These sunflowers produce no pollen so they are great for a vase indoors as a cut flower.

This planting was a seed mix. So it will be a surprise as to what color your flowers will be on any individual plant. But each variety included in the mix covers the range from yellows to oranges to deep reds.

Chocolate Cherry
These lovelies have rich chocolate-burgundy petals which surround dark chocolate centers. These flowers are excellent for indoor bouquets (they are pollenless) and are standouts in the garden. These guys grow to 6-7 feet so growing in ground is recommended.
